How to View Offerings by A Specific Species |
To view offerings by a specific species click on the species name across the top bar of each page
(see Figure 1.1).
|
Figure 1.1 |
|
Once the offering data has loaded, your screen should look like Figure 1.2 depending on the species selected. On the screen you will see first the last date that data related to the page was updated and then a main summary text box giving overview information about the species selected. Next you will see text boxes containing summary information about the agencies that are offering the species and a map in the center with the specific National Forest ranger districts, BLM field offices, or other resource providers that will make the offering.
The markers on the maps are intended to give you an idea of the general location of the ranger district/field office they represent. The marker for the State of Utah Trust Lands offerings is set off to the side to indicate it includes all State of Utah Trust Lands offerings. When you move the mouse pointer over the location markers, a text box will appear with the name of the ranger district/field office that each represents. Additionally, you can click on the ranger district/field office marker to navigate down the web page to view detailed offering information. Click Return to Map to move back up the page to the maps.

How to View Offerings by Customized Search |
To search the offerings on your own, open the Search Database webpage, the link is located in the left side navigation bar below the agency and ranger district/field office links.
(see Figure 8.1)

Once the webpage has loaded, you can choose which fields from the database to include in the search, and which to not include. The query you are running on this page is set to sum the offerings based on the fields included in the query. For example, if you wish to view the total of all offerings, you would need to toggle off all of the select boxes and then search. Your result will be one line with the total of all offering contained in the database. If you want to view each individual offering record entered into the database you would leave the field on and additionally toggle on the show offering ID, which is off by default.
